Planet Zoo 2 aquarium cleaning guide: distinguish dirty water from dirty glass, check keeper access and identify which system needs attention before rebuilding.

Read the warning before choosing a fix

GAMES.GG distinguishes the Water Cleanliness and Tank Cleanliness interface values. Frontier separately confirms the underlying responsibilities: the water network supplies clean water, while staff dive in to clean aquarium windows. Diagnose the named problem rather than judging water quality from a screenshot alone.

How to check whether a keeper is actually cleaning

The official image shows what a cleaning task looks like, not a guarantee that your own keeper has reached the aquarium. If the task is absent, keep the investigation on access and staff availability. If a task runs but the warning persists, compare the water-network condition as well.

  1. Find the aquarium staff gate and trace its path connection back to the staff network.
  2. Inspect the assigned keeper and current task; check the work-zone assignment if the aquarium is not being serviced.
  3. Confirm the keeper can reach the gate rather than only a guest viewing entrance.
  4. After a cleaning visit, reread the tank’s condition before making another change.

Leaks are a maintenance problem, not just dirt

Frontier says aquarium barriers require maintenance and different barrier types resist cracking differently. Treat a leak or damaged barrier as an additional issue rather than assuming cleaning will repair it. Check barrier condition and the appropriate maintenance access before returning to normal management.

Avoid draining or rebuilding a populated aquarium just to test a cleanliness theory. First inspect the existing network, staff route and relevant warning. If the setup is functioning but a reproducible fault remains, use the official support and feedback guide.
