Planet Zoo 2 Deluxe Edition vs Standard: Price and Contents

What is the difference between the editions?

Which animals are only in the Deluxe Edition?

Frontier lists six. The Zoopedia tags each as Deluxe content and shows where it lives in game:

• The deluxe animal signs are scenery pieces for decorating your zoo.
• All 130 species revealed so far are in the Planet Zoo 2 animal list.

What is the pre-order bonus?

Every edition bought before launch includes the Bonus Content Pack, delivered at launch:

• Toucan Eat shop and signage
• Three animal donation bins
• A tiger photo stand-in wall

Is there a discount for Planet Zoo owners?

On PlayStation, yes. The PlayStation Store says anyone who bought the original Planet Zoo there sees a 10% discount on the Deluxe Edition pre-order price. Frontier has not announced a similar loyalty discount on Steam, Epic or Xbox.

Is Planet Zoo 2 on Game Pass or PS Plus?

No. The Microsoft Store data for both editions lists no Game Pass inclusion, and the PlayStation Store listing carries no PS Plus branding. Frontier’s FAQ says it has nothing to share about Game Pass or PS Plus. On Xbox, both editions support Xbox Play Anywhere, so one purchase covers the Xbox and Windows versions.

Where can you buy Planet Zoo 2?

Steam and the Epic Games Store on PC, the PlayStation Store and the Microsoft Store, plus physical retailers for the console discs. Those are the stores the official buy page links. Key resellers outside that list are not official channels, so Frontier’s support does not cover what they sell.

Will there be DLC?

Probably in time, but nothing is announced. The FAQ says the team is focused on launch and has nothing to share about future content, while the final Zoopedia post says Planet Zoo 2 will continue to grow over time. The ESRB notice on Steam lists in-game purchases.
