How do Community Challenges work?

Frontier runs a weekly Community Challenge: players around the world contribute toward one shared target, and every player earns the in-game rewards when a milestone is reached. Frontier’s launch post on October 13 invited players to join the first one, and the live progress bar is on the official Community Challenges page.

What are the Bred ’n’ Water rewards?

All three unlock together at 200,000. Frontier lists every reward against the same milestone.

Which animals count for Bred ’n’ Water?

Frontier lists 15 related animals: Blackspotted Puffer, Blacktip Reef Shark, Clown Triggerfish, Dolphinfish, Giant Grouper, Great Hammerhead, Hawksbill Turtle, Indo-Pacific Leopard Shark, Javanese Cownose Ray, Ocean Sunfish, Ocellated Eagle Ray, Red Lionfish, Sailfin Snapper, Sand Tiger Shark, West Indian Manatee. All are aquarium species; the Great Hammerhead needs the Deluxe Edition. How to keep them is in the aquarium guide.

How do you contribute?

1. Keep one or more of the listed marine species in an aquarium with good welfare.
2. Breed them: the challenge asks for strong genetics, so pair your best animals.
3. Check the Community Challenge panel in game. Update 1.0.4 on October 14 fixed the panel not showing all of its information.

What comes after Bred ’n’ Water?

Green Green Grassland, from October 27, 2026. Frontier describes it as a Release to Wild challenge on the grasslands, so it counts animals released into Wildlife Reserves. Release groups and their requirements are covered in Planet Zoo 2 Wildlife Reserves.
